Camellietum

The   Camellietum   has   a   catalogue   of   every   cultivar,   identified   or   not.   This catalogue     indicates     position,     identification     number,     specimen     and variety,   at   the   entrance,   a   sign   illustrates   disposition   and   placement   of each   variety.   In   total,   the   Camellietum   is   divided   in   13   areas,   11   are dedicated   to   musicians   and   the   last   one   is   dedicated   to   the   camellias coming from Pillnitz castle (Germany). Areas grey: Luigi Maria Cherubini Areas brown: Pietro Mascagni Areas dark green:Michele Puccini Areas yellow: Giacomo Puccini Senior Areas light green: Francesco Geminiani Areas red Giacomo Puccini Areas orange: Guido Monaca D’Arezzo Areas blue : Giovanni Pacini  Areas fuchsia: Alfredo Catalani Areas heavenly: Luigi Boccherini Areas German: Heinrich Schuetz Areas amber: Francesco Barsanti (Camelie Sasanqua) Italian Camellia Society (Reserved to members for various types Trials) On   the   sign,   where   you   can   read   a   brief   biography   of   the   musician written   in   four   different   languages,   there   is   a   list   of   the   existing   cultivars as   well   as   their   number   for   their   identification. The   little   signs   that   identify the cultivars are made out of aluminium and are indestructible.
