green glossy, narrowly elliptic to elliptic, margins finely and sharply serrate, apex
Long-acuminate, 10 cm long x 4-5 cm wide. Plant habit compact, slender. Imported from
Japan and obtained by L. van Houtte, Belgium, from whom it was secured by the Caledonia
Nurseries, Guernsey. It is a most variable variety producing the sports: Yours Truly, Lady
Vansittart Blush, Lady Vansittart Pink, Lady Vansittart White, ‘Frances McLanahan’.
